Athena, whom I’m pretty sure was confirmed to be in BL3 is neither seen or mentioned. It looks just like Meridian Outskirts without any details. For the better or worse Krieg atleast has some Echos and The Watcher has a tiny bit in some lore.In my opinion Moxxi acts kinda strange during the Killavolt side quest. Here we have the person that set the whole story/lore/universe of Borderlands in motion, and you turn him in nothing more than a complete idiot whose whole concern are turds. Combing the desolate plains with the beauty of otherworldly plants, rivaling even Hayter‘s Folly at some points.I also might add that with the giant venus flytraps and all, this is exactly how I envisioned Promethea, where even the flora tries to kill you. Then you meet Typhon Deleon, which doesn’t looks anything like his posters, and is a tiny fat man looking like a round rock with a head. People say they are longer, and that might be true, for some. First I thought I blown him up aboard the Zanara, then after destroying Katagawa Ball…Also the fact that he is just the head of Maliwan’s Mergers and Acquisitions makes it a missed opportunity that we never hear from any higher ups later in the story and makes it seem quite odd that Maliwan is still aiding the Calypsos on Nekrotafeyo, long after his death. You then pass through Neon Arterial, which first part has to be the most bland, detailless area ever seen in the series. Looking at the red text and it seems to be a quote from Mordecai from the first Borderlands, "So big, so angry, so dead." Although I have to wonder why these small areas have way more variation than any area in the main game, making them way more interesting. If you made it this far, then I sincerely thank you for taking your time reading my overly long list of ramblings. The only time I was “enjoying“ this game were the times I was just boringly making my way across the big environments, not getting interrupted by the awful jokes, so I could enjoy the gunplay.I’m not looking forward to the DLCs with how great the reception was after launch, I don’t think Gearbox is even aware that there is something unrepairable wrong with Borderlands 3, and doesn’t see any reason to act accordingly. If Borderlands 3 was exactly the same just with complete different jokes and a better story it would easily be on par with the other ones, even surpassing them in many areas. What Borderlands 3’s Download & Install Size Is
Borderlands 3's Revenge of the Cartels event has started, but sometime the extra enemies it brings can get annoying. Tweet on Twitter. This goes on and on, and only increases the further you come, making you already feel like this game was meant to be played by 5 year olds. The areas are also so big, filled with few side quest who are forgettable, that whenever the next (turd-)“joke“ comes around it quickly goes from mediocre to just painful.Where are all the great and many side quests that Borderlands was filled with. We don’t learn who the prison belongs to or who was hold captive here. There is not a single chest to loot, not even the small safes! The first time I heard a civilian talk about how great Jakobs is and that you couldn’t have a better job than working in one of their lumber mills, where they all look out for one and each other, because their are family I really thought this would lead into a sinister story arc where you would uncover that Jakobs is brainwashing their people. Is this implying that the defining trait of Jakobs weapons, being made out of wood is just a charade so Montgomery could settle on Eden-6 to drill for oil?The Anvil was the first time I really liked the game. I just really don’t like it.It looks like Borderlands but it’s missing its soul.ATM I don‘t even want to play any Borderlands again and I can’t see myself playing this regularly like I did with every other one, over the past 10 years.Story Writing, Continuity, Story Direction, Spoilers ... one of the easy ones, it allows for easier crits but gives everyone big head mode #2. wesnef. With over a billion different guns (kinda…), a meaty thirty-plus hour campaign, and plenty of side missions and end game content to dive into, Borderlands 3 brings more fans the Vault Hunting action they’ve been asking for for years. There are atleast these crystalized people that imply that it were the civilians, but given the fact that Tyreen isn’t above ‘‘eating“ her own people I’m not to sure of that either. And then there is Mayas death, still very early in the story. You go from Badlands through hillsides, mines, Sci-Fi bunkers to vast deserts, junkyards, canyons with bandit camps and even a coast.
Almost everything is just a wide dessert.Ascension Bluff and The Droughts are quit similiar. The first 15 were joyous. In fact Typhons logs seem to indicate that the worst thing on Promethea is that Atlas left pretty early on and so the city feel into disarray, leaving it with a not fully developed infrastructure. So you fight your way through the city wondering when you will finally visit Prometheas Badlands and what even more ferocious beasts lurk there. It all comes to an end at a snowy mountain filled with Eridian ruins covered in giant flowers. The thing it also still does miles better than every other Borderlands is the environmental story telling. i haven't played bl3 for few weeks so i'm not really sure whats going on.. Like what?! This game feels so, so old. The Skag kennel was also an awesome location and the only gripe I have is that Sheega too is just one of the many female Psycho mini bosses who reuse a Female Badass Psycho model. And than there is the Grace quest, in my opinion the high point of BL3, on par with things like Where Angels Fear to Tread.
